Brand new split LP from Gateshead drone legend Culver and Turgid Animal's very own Mutant Ape side project Murder Book. Two longs sides of blackened heavy music. There is nothing pretty about this record other than the sexy girl on the front... you'll see. Limited to 250 copies on black vinyl.

Featuring one side of collaborative material featuring all the artists playing deranged big band pain electronics, Turgid style. The other side features a 5 minute track by each band.

Birthdays consists of two live sets by maverick amplified-glass player Justice Yeldham recorded during his & Keg's recent tour of Europe. If you've never heard of the guy you are in for a bloody treat. Using concert-grade piano contact mics, he amplifies a sheet of glass and plays it with his mouth and face, processing it with pedals attached to his belt, usually barefooted. The results are unworldly, and hearing it you would never imagine what created it, something only an Aussie could achieve. Like careening assaults of insect spaceships, he transports the listener to other worlds of sound, ending most often in a crash of the glass upon his head. He survives, bloody but alive, never worse for wear in the morning. Side A was captured in Marseille on the eve of Justice's 35th birthday while side B was recorded on Kegs birthday in Porto (for a preview listen at myspace.com/justiceyeldham ). And to top off the birthday cheer Keg also did the cover illustration as a gift for Justice's Birthday. Mastered by the god-like Rasheed of Dubplates (Berlin), the record has been collaboratively released in an edition of 600 copies across the world by Anarchymoon Recordings (North America), Turgid Animal (Europe) & All Thumbs Press (Australia). Black vinyl, B-on-W labels, 2-sided printed insert in PVC sleeve. Limited to 600 copies (200 per label).

Proctor's Murder Book project has been focusing on the more mondo cane side of heavy drone music and the more murderous side of old school industrial noise, this first vinyl outing is no different. The first and only side of this release is a full on bass/guitar kraut-styled work out from the depths of the Sparrow Pit, slowly weaving and blurring itself into abyss, ending with a slow growl of discomfort. The CD-r features two drawn out synth experiments from the tail end of this year to round off the proceedings. Grim, laser-printed artwork on blue paper loose inside a PVC sleeve with the record inside a white paper sleeve and housed in a black card outer sleeve. Simple like the music within.

Turgid Animal is very proud to present thee essential release by the various project's of Texan noise legend; Richard Ramirez. This LP includes new material by most of his better known projects including Anal Drill, Gender Sabotage, Release Helen Rytka, SS Electronics, Crash At Every Speed, Private Mouthpiece, Werewolf Jerusalem, Last Rape, 12 Yr Old Proud Parent and The Sick Tour. Hopefully this was worth the wait for all those who pre-ordered or awaited this release. Even after losing some much money, time and energy I am extremly proud to finally have this out there and I hope the few of you who actually buy it, will at least enjoy it. All Hail Ramirez! The tracks were actually re-recorded in the interim so the sound is more dense in keeping with Vomir's later material. Dark Passenger is Bob McCully’s sonic exploration into the death-journey, utilising the full spectrum of eclectica for which Women in Tragedy is known. This is a record you could play to your mom, and conversely this is also one of the most disturbing records I’ve ever heard. Limited to 250 copies, presented on quality 33rpm black vinyl with full colour labels and sleeves and clocking in at a little under 45mins playing time.
