Ambiansu is a Portuguese Dark Ambient project, joining the efforts of two well-known artists in that scene: Merankorii and Ambience. Together, they created a dark new world, that you can visit by purchasing their debut release "Tagebuch", a 500 copies limited CD.

Formerly known as Big Road Breaker. "More sub-space transmissions from out of the void, other worldly murmurs and ambiences that shimmer like phantoms then fade into oblivion. Clicks, static and rumbles are allused as devices to convey abstractions of space and time. Layer upon layer of sound, treated to bring out new textures; the musical splitting of an atom" (Bizarre). Released in an edition of 500 copies, though only 300 were ever made available due to a shortage in the printed sleeves. Comes in a in PVC archive sleeve with multiple transparent and card inserts with obi strip.

"Very proud to get this one out! First time on CD for both these bands: Culver, possibly the most under-appreciated "experimental" musician in the UK who's been making some of the most awe-inspiring drone/noise for years. For those of you who don't know, Lee Stokoe plays bass in Geordie post-whatever geniuses Marzuraan as well as being the current foil to Matthew Bower's walls of scraping guitar noise in Skullflower, but Culver is his "main" project. On this CD he gives us a 30 min+ deluge of harrowing.bassy drone. It starts off like the sound of the generator from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and similarly purveys a sense of crawling dread at what is to come. Soon things get more desperate before being crushed into oblivion by a wall of crushing amplifier noise, which slowly develops into a more sedative shifting tone that wouldn't have been out of place on a Conrad Schnitzler record in the 70s. Perfect! Seppuku give us two tracks in very different styles....first track "Inga" sees a full band play some unbearably heavy doom. Ushered in by what sounds like a tolling bell, this gives way to some Throbbing Gristle-esque hydraulic pumping before the guitars kick in and everything is laid to waste. Brutal low frequencies and inhuman low/screaming vokilllllls....heavy duty! Second track Emanuelle is enhanced by the appearance of Deek and Stevie from Messiah Complex; sounds very post-industrial power electronics, with walls of bleak static forming the backbone of the track, interspersed with what sounds like post-apocalyptic winds of death, and some distorted lines of screeched vocal. "A re-issue CD of quite possibly the most crumbled and crushed out harsh noise release to date. Originally released in Italy by Old Europa Café in 1995, "Low-Fi Power Carnage" was an excellent example of imported noise from the Italian harsh noise master Gabriele Giuliani. At a time when the cassette format was king and Japanese noise was sometimes too high range and polished causing Americanoise to crush the genre with acts such as Skin Crime and Macronympha, Dead Body Love was also around to deliver the most crusted and rumbling of the contemporary harsh noise acts. "Low-Fi Power Carnage" is an amazing document of raw and crunched harsh noise range and focus as it pummels over its four different tracks; each their own monster in strategy and manipulation. Giuliani has an uncanny ability to investigate movement within the rock bed of sound, sometimes picking apart the tones and sources with deconstruction techniques that range from ‘static drone’ to the brutal and abrasive. Thus, this release has something for every harsh head as it covers numerous areas of violence, abstraction, and even an occasional heavy driving, throbbing force that brings to mind early ‘Industrial’ (i.e. Broken Flag). I am honoured to be able to help with this re-issue as I can safely say it is my favourite noise release of all time and was the defining release that made me finally decide to make harsh noise the primary focus of my life. "Picking up where 2008's An Epiphanic Vomiting Of Blood left off, Gnaw Their Tongues is back with nine new tracks of fearsome blackened orchestral chaos and abstract horror that still sounds like little else out there. On Dread, we're feeling an even heavier bass-assault compared to the other releases, and this is easily the heaviest Gnaw Their Tongues release yet. This monstrous, noxious bottom-end roar that skulks and slithers throughout the album suggests a foul fusion of Abruptum (which is still the closest reference point to Gnaw Their Tongue's black chaos) and Leonard Rosenman's most nightmarish film scores, piled in towering heaps of sadistic noise, warped orchestral strings, degraded samples, shrieking voices, and punishing lurching doom draped in suffocating atrmosphere. "As Jodorowsky's Holy Mountain was a satire of the western approach to self-actualization, Horseback's The Invisible Mountain is a work composed as a means to channel the self-destructive tendencies of its maker, Jenks Miller. The channeling process has required a functionally solipsistic worldview based on the efficacy of individual will in ascertaining its specific reality. This worldview, in turn, has caused a sort of fissure between social consciousness and individual consciousness. In specific, the invisible mountain is an abstraction of the God-self in this whole process, a tenuous and ever-collapsing fabrication that perpetuates the individual psyche amidst processes that would otherwise destroy it or steal its creative power. The mountain itself is false: existing only to the individual as he climbs toward self-realization, and unknowable in any external reality; but it is as necessary as it is false. Without the fabrication, individual reality would crumble and one would be stripped of creative power. The record itself is based on repetitive guitar riffs and drum patterns similar to mantras in meditation, blackened vocals referencing the uncomfortable tension between one's quest for transcendence and their unresolved relationship with the rest of society The tracks are devices to help maintain discipline in an attempt to conquer. "For noise fans like myself this kind of collaboration is an absolute dream-team match-up... something like the Girls Aloud/Sugarbabes love-in for Comic Relief re-wired for those of us who pin up photographs of famous serial killers in our bedrooms, or something. 'Snail on a Razor' doesn't disappoint either; Dominick Fernow, Marcia Bassett and Matthew Bower make the kind of smudged-out noise you'd expect to hear not in your dying moments, but in the moments when some un-named, Hessian draped visage was chemically drawing you out of unconsciousness just to experience that extra searing pain before you drift off again into the realm of fire. "First full-length studio album from one of the most consistently good bands around today, Chicago's Locrian. Drenched Lands is a beautifully thought-out piece of music, from a gentle guitar strum/synth opening (not a million miles away from Culver/Earth "Pentastar"-era territory) which cuts out abruptly just as you're becoming entirely engrossed, only to give way to an epic cavernous drone. The whole thing brings to mind some sort of disused industrial factory or barren post-apocalyptic landscape. Dark tones, noise, keys and the odd well-placed guitar strum combine brilliantly to evoke feeling of desolation, loss, a submission of will....it's almost like the logical conclusion of Neil Young's Dead Man soundtrack; almost tangiential in sound to Earth's recent(ish) "Hex" record. 1000 copies, co-release with Small Doses (US customers buy from them, it'll be cheaper!). "An unbelievable line-up on this one, UK noise icons The New Blockaders team up with erstwhile Sonic Youth bandmates, Thurston Moore and Jim O'Rourke with more than a little help from the reliably jaw-dropping Chris Corsano. The disc is divided into two pieces, the first being the collaboration with Thurston, which turns out to be a particularly obscure drone piece, constituted from hissing feedback tones, tape crackle and some sort of chaotic, mechanical sound sources. The piece evolves infinitesimally over the course of its fourteen minutes, rendering an uncompromising, though highly textured vision of analogue sound sculpting. The other, shorter piece '840 Seconds Over' continues in its predecessor's campaign of high frequency feedback manipulations this time with the addition of some caterwhauling noise oscillator free jazz and typically virtuosic improv drumming from Corsano. It's a real force to be reckoned with, and the crispness of Corsano's kit works perfectly against the hiss and fizz from the tape-heavy, droning elements. It's all over rather too soon (the whole thing clocks in at just over twenty-one minutes), but you can hardly expect anyone to keep up these levels of intensity for prolonged periods, can you? "When I started doing the label this was what I always intended it to be: releasing great music by people from around here who need to be heard! Well, here ya go! This CD combines two of Glasgow's best experimental bands, neither of which really seem to get the credit or attention they deserve. John Comar AKA Noma has been wowing audiences for a few years now with his constantly changing live sets, a slew of CDr releases on various labels, and as an auxilliary member of metal powerhouse Black Sun, but this is his first "proper" CD release. He takes on two tracks here, the first is a slowly-building tone-fest. Very ambient, and hauntingly beautiful...bascially what Noma does best. Next track "Amusia" is a little atypical of what most people will expect. Imposing thuds are interjected by what sounds like some form of screeching metallic machine being thrown down some stairs, electronic blasts. Surreal, bizarre, unpredictable....very Noma. This is only the second ever release by Adam Cresser's Rejectamenta, and his one track here, "SSilence" is a follow-up to his CDr on At War from a couple of years ago entitles SServant. This couldn't be any further away from silence, total overload of a billion circuit-bent instruments all melded together into one massive orchestral binary cacophany. The place for the meeting was Rylander's Studio Dental and the album was received in one night. The process developed immediately and there was no struggle to find a common idea of sound. "A reissue of Skullflower's acclaimed 1992 album IIIrd Gatekeeper, featuring the lineup of Matthew Bower (guitar), Stuart Dennison (drums and vocals), and Anthony DiFranco (bass). IIIrd Gatekeeper is an immensely heavy album that was originally released on HeadDirt, the label run by Justin Broadrick of Godflesh/Jesu/Final fame back in the early 90's, and featured Skullflower at their heaviest, grinding out slow, sludgy riffs and crushing, almost industrial rhythms amid a tempest of psychedelic guitar noise and dense sheets of feedback - easily the most crushing, rock-based music that Skullflower ever produced. IIIrd Gatekeeper served up a skulldozing dose of post-industrial dirge rock that sat comfortably next to Godflesh, Swans, and Ramleh in terms of dark, druggy, hypnotic lumbering heaviness. A group who, more than any other, define the essence of true Noise music both in art and in act. Their influence on the current crop of popular crossover Noise artists such as Prurient and Wolf Eyes is immeasurable. Emerging at the beginning of the 1980s alongside the Industrial grind of Throbbing Gristle and the harsh, abrasive Power Electronics of Whitehouse, TNB stood out through a purity of vision. Their first record, 1982's 'Changez Les Blockeurs', is noise in its most rudimentary form: metallic grating sounds and analogue feedback redefined what could be classified as music. Its abstract form and Dadaist construction challenged all that had appeared before. Its anti-music approach presented a recording closer to the theory-driven work of Einsturzende Neubauten than their supposed contemporaries. They would appear rarely and when they did it would be in anonymity. The records would emerge even more infrequently with little information and in tiny runs. Collaborations in recent years with artists such as Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and Merzbow have brought their anti-sound to a younger and diverse audience. The metal-bashing of K2, the awkwardness of Runzelstirn & Gurgelstock, the density of Macronympha and the abrasiveness of Merzbow all owe something to the anti-music of TNB. They can truly be credited as pioneers of Noise music as we know it today. This is the first in four unique albums of today's most forward-thinking noise artists paying tribute to their masters.
